Generally speaking it's a lot wetter than that, but it's fairly mediterranean in the Heortland and God Forgot areas. Karse too.

Central Kethaela is more like western France, whilst Maniria has some fairly drastic weather conditions; pissing down with rain all the time in western Esrolia,
Longsi, Ditali, and Solanthi lands; alternate sun, rain, and ash storms over Caladraland; ice storms and snow around Ice Mountain, and generally speaking violent thunderstorms crashing down from Arrowmound, right, left and center.

So basically, no, Kethaela doesn't have a terribly mediterranean climate, but a fairly violent fantasy-fiction-like one.

In Heortland, Beast Valley, and Sun Dome country, yes.

Not in central Kethaela, but the yearly climate depends on whether Elmal or Heler gets to be Esrola's Year-Husband.

So, central Kethaela has wet years and dry ones; but generally wetter going eastwards and drier towards the east and north.
