Why? All the mentions of Leika using an Arbalest are from his ancient house campaign, now over 25 years old - when we were writing up Blackmor and Leika for the Orlmarthingsaga, we realized that the old characters were pretty much totally useless today. So we wrote those characters based on what we learned the Colkymar in the last 15 years.  Besides, as the Hyaloring goddess, Redalda is a major goddess for the Runegate clans (Redalda and Beren are the ancestor cults and protector of the clans). Made a lot of sense for Redalda to be a Vinga alternative at Runegate.

Queen Beneva Chan - who was an Ernalda - was a key participant in the leading up to Starbrow's Rebellion. Then again, I can't think of many Vingans with stats prior to HeroWars. The Vingan weaponsthane in Dorastor had no stats.
