A small battle-scar always goes down well with the ladies! Since Schlaeger scars have probably dropped out of fashion, it's good to find a Teutonic 21st century replacement.
It's great that Dan was patched up and re-entered th fray, though even in his momentary absence the Toilet Duck (or whatever that beverage was) caused immeasurable damage.
