I assumed, since we are a dragon-hating clan, that my ring would be totally opposed to this. To my surprise, they were quite receptive, and the leader indicated by the dragon newts was eager to go do it. Now, aside from the fact that the one other game where this came up my clan chief blew himself up while trying to make the poem, I'm supposed to be a dragon hater, so I was about to say "no." Then my cursed curiousity got the better of me, and I said we'd do it. To my amazement, my clan magic didn't even drop.
So, two questions. One, can anyone come up with an explanation of why my leaders and ancestral spirits were willing to deal with the dragon newts (and I mean a gloranthan explanation, not "must be a software glitch"). Two, has anyone had a leader come back from this event? I fear I'm about to lose my only Odaylan.....
