Probably. They could always have adopted bloodlines who don't officially descend from the pairing, but most of them would do.

It depends what people mean by a Swan Maiden.

If they mean a hsunchen-type person who can change into a swan, then their descendants may have inherited the trait but it would become rarer as time goes by, unless they stayed true to their hsunchen heritage.

If a Swan Maiden is a semi-divine person/nymph who can take the form of a swan using a swan cloak, which is the standard description, then the founder would be a true Swan maiden but could pass her claok down to her descendants.

Perhaps her descendants may be able to perform a Swan Maiden Quest to get a Swan Cloak and become Swan Maidens themselves. Of course, they wouldn't be the semi-divine nymph kind of Swan Maiden but would be the human equivalent.

In any case, being a Swan Maiden can be a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that she can turn into a swan by putting on her cloak. The curse is that she may lose the cloak and that Swan Maidens are prime targets for Orlanthi/Vadrudi questing for brides, whether willing or unwilling.

Personally, I like Swan Maidens, they are possibly the cutest of the minor nymphs/daimones.

See Ya
