I wonder, though, whether different cults that worship the "same" gods might not have different mythologies. For example, the Heler mythology given in his chapter of _Storm Tribe_ differs significantly from the one given in connection with Orlanth in _Thunder Rebels_. That might reflect real differences in the mythologies.

Possibly a worshipper of the Helamakt subcult of Orlanth would worship using the rites and mythology summarized in _Thunder Rebels_, while a worshipper of the Helamakt subcult of Heler would worship using the _Storm Tribe_ version.

Similarly, the cults of Orlanth Barntar and Barntar Barntar might differ enough that the latter cult does not "count" as Orlanth worship. After all, Elmal is a son of the Bad Emperor, but his worship doesn't count as worship of the Bad Emperor.
