LOL FWIW, chaos taints were originally presented in the early canon as next to impossible to remove, but not as an actual, total magical impossibility per se. They have since been de-emphasised, and the Cleansed One's minor importance has therefore dwindled even further.

Nevertheless, truly Elemental (ie transcendentally Elemental) Water does actually have such purification abilities (as does Fire, in a very different manner), and Zola Fel is deep and old enough to plausibly allow potential access to such purification.

Very VERY dangerous stuff though, and the corresponding HeroQuest/ Spirit Journey would in most cases simply be a Killer, IMO. I mean, Chaos Guy A jumps in, the most likely outcome of any purification of the chaos inside him would be his own destruction, because he is himself chaotic...

IMO the cult of the Cleansed One is a) a manifestation of the deep Praxian links to the Age of Genert b) a reality, and yes that broo Healer WAS cleansed, but no he's NOT going around actively encouraging anyone else to do the same thing, wonder why hm? c) deep Generting magic, working towards the cleansing of the Wastes d) cause for Hope
