I totally agree with Simon here. I have GMed and played RQ games that went as high level as most HQ campaign can go. And this is certainly true of the new Second Age setting, too. After all, if you can play a God Learner, whose primary goal is pillaging the powers of the Gods, is it not what you call "High Level"?

One thing I would like to stress, however, is that you need to know the RQ rule mechanics very very well before you can venture into the realms of HeroQuesting with that ruleset, otherwise it will just become a PC onslaught. On the other hand, HeroQuest allows you to handle the interaction between gods and heroes without too much rules fiddling. In this case, you must only know the _myth_ very well in order to send your players into it.
