There is definitely special knowledge taught by the Dronari Associations (for example those of the various artisan crafts) that is not included within the Wizard's understanding of things. Many Horali communities have their own special magical secrets. For example, the Segurane Horali who directly serve the House of Bailifes are particularly good at overcoming non-Horali on the battlefield.

The sainted teachers and heroes are possibly less caste-specific than you might think - especially those who achieved their reknown in the Hrestoli Era.
