This is extremely important! Eternal Con (which I am most familiar with) has five work horses who arrange things before the Con - the website, registrations, making arrangements with the accomodations, and so on. Then one person has the pitiless job of making sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to, and being relentless about it.

Yes. It is worth finding out whether you have a core of people who will definitely go. If not, don't do it.
