The differing length of seasons will end up cancelling each other out as happens on earth.

Different years could occur because:

1. The Syndics Ban. For the Rathori it would be something like 1521 ST (depending on when you woke up). Additionally some isolated segments of Fronela could have skipped or gained a year or three during the Ban.
2. The year is counted not by the Solar Calender but by some other event. A good RW example is the Islamic Year which only has twelve lunar months and so its years are only 350 days or so.

2a) The already mentioned Red Sands of Time for example could be longer or shorter than the ST year by an unknown amount. Which one do you think the Brithini are going to stick with when the two chronological measures diverge? Zzabur's tested and true instruments or their own lying eyes?

2b) Dara Happa measures time using the Planet Lokarnos, which used to have a period of a week and now has one of 98 Days. So some Dara Happans could be using a calendar year of 14 solar years.

3) The Sunstop could be of different lengths to different people.
