BTW, none of this is a criticism of Peter's excellent work in GIHW. However, since that was written Greg and I have spent a HUGE amount of time pondering the background of the Holy County (which resulted in the History of the Heortling Peoples, Land of 10,000 Goddesses, and the materials appearing in the Guide to Glorantha). I'm talking hundreds (if not thousands) of emails, Skype discussions, draft papers, drawings, maps, and so forth.
