It's hard to tell all these shiny, solar-type holier-than-tho guys apart. Besides, they hurt looking at so it's even harder to recognize them.

Besides, "son of" Nysalor can have many meanings, in the allegorical sense mostly. P. (curse his name) could perfectly have been a DH noble scion before he saw Nysalor's Light. Could have been part of the DH delegation to Dorastor.

Which was as you say totally non-canonical and just lain wrong. HHP is correct.
