Did Delecti create his vampiric minions, or did he merely recruit or enslave them from elsewhere?
Also is Chaos a necessary component for the creation of vampires in Glorantha?
If Delecti created them, and if he must have used Chaos magic to do so, surely he must have tainted himself with Chaos in the process? Presumably a non-Chaotic having Chaotic minions is very suspicious to right-thinking people, but it could happen -- like the unnamed people in the old RQ2 rules who hire Scorpionman mercenaries, forgetting their essentially Chaotic nature
Alternatively maybe Delecti's vampires are not Chaotic either, e.g. if he created them through his own sorcery, but the vampires are assumed to be Chaotic because an "Orlanthi all" of vampires are Chaotic, and that is good enough for the neighbours.
Also given how unpopular Delecti is for his other activities, at what practical level does it really matter whether the additional accusation that he consorts with the Predark is true or not?
Being shown not to be Chaotic won't make him any less unpopular (for good reason he is starting from a pretty low base) -- but it might affect the myths Heroquesters could use to confront him. So in Delecti's unusual position maybe being misdescribed as Chaotic could, paradoxically, be a useful additional line of magical defence?

This is an important distinction between Glorantha and e.g. Melnibone/the Young Kingdoms: the Underworld, home of the demons, though generally malign to life, is not per se chaotic. Most of it has a "Land of the Dead" aura, some may remind of Dante's vision of Hell, but most natives are not bent upon destroying the Universe.
There are plenty chaotic denizens of the Underworld - starting with Krarsht and her minions, including Nontraya, who may or may not be identical to Vivamort...

Delecti's vampiric minions may be chaotic, but I don't think the necromancer himself is. Damned by association at least.
