I've been working on this for the Guide and for the Lunar Book, so can probably give more complete information. The Imperial Bodyguard includes (but is not necessarily limited to): the Bloodspillers, Feathered Axes, Full Moon Corps, Grimsoldiers, Hell Sisters, Household Foot, and the Mother's Guard. They serve as the Imperial Guard for the Red Emperor, and not as so much as guardians of temples, palaces, and so on (Great Sister has her own private army which is not part of the Imperial Bodyguard). I am not ready to give any final numbers for these units, or give any definitive numbers for the Vampire Legion.

The soldiers of the Imperial Bodyguard range from elite to demigods in training. Like the Imperial Guard of Napoleon, the Persian Immortals, or the Ottoman Janissaries, they are feared not just in Peloria, but throughout Genertela.
