Way back in my RQ2 days a friend had a character who was a Yelmalioan sage (so he could meet the literacy requirement for priest), a member of the militia (to get the 1-handed spear and shield skills) who got the "mastery of one cult weapon" as his gift from Yelmalio.(yeah, we never fudged our rolls [:)] ) He promptly wanderd off to perform the scholarly and priestly duties of going down into holes in the Big Rubble, killing the things he found there and taking their stuff.
