I 've been thinking about possible Gloranthan Kickstarter projects.

Kickstarter is a website where something is proposed (RPG game/supplement, boardgame, etc.) with a financial goal to reach for it to actually happen. People pledge money (sort of like the preorder system some wargame companies use) and the fun part is there are rewards for higher pledge amounts. For example, a proposed RPG supplement might have pledges ranging from $10 (get a PDF copy) to $500 (get a PDF + hardcopy, your name in the credits, and work with the designer to create your own content to be added to the final product).

Here's a link to Steve Jackson Games' (totally amazing) "Ogre Designer's Edition" boardgame Kickstarter:

A pen-and-paper RPG example:

This could be put to a number of Gloranthan uses:

Kickstarter could be a good way to gauge interest, get some projects going and, most importantly, unleash some of that Gloranthophile cash that's just sitting around unused!
