That's how Trolls see it, but that doesn't necessarily apply to humans though.
Trolls being Darkness creatures, originally native denizens of the underworld, seems to mean that the rules of nature apply differently to them in some ways, particularly with respect to Chaos. I'm pretty sure Trollpak states that they are resistant to it in ways denizens of the middle world aren't.
