Lax? What do you mean lax? Unlike the Sedalpists, who (according to you, and you're probably right) corrupted themselves with that Silence nonsense, the Malkioni of our fair port go back to the roots of the religion, back to before the God Learners. I'm talking about that true old time religion, the way it was practiced at the Dawn.

Before you object, it's true we don't sacrifice to Seshna Likita here, the way the Dawn Age Malkioni did. But we're not Seshnelans, either. We sacrifice to the deities the Creator set up to help run things in Umathela, like Ernmorla who gives us millet.
