I think you have this backwards - there is no doubt that the Block is made out of Truestone, but I'm not sure that everyone would claim the Block is the source of Truestone...

Unless you have confused the Block and The Spike? in which case you could still ask "was the Spike the source of Truestone, or was Truestone used to build the Spike?"
