Sorcery 101: Scriptures, Formularies, Grimoires

Folks -

I'm contemplating playing an essence-user for the first time and I'm wrestling a bit with the terminology. Can you validate that I have this correct regarding the differences between the 3 types of books.

SCRIPTURES:
* Contain Blessings and Curses, not Spells

• Are accessed by the "Use [Scripture]" ability (ie, no individual abilities)
• In order to be used, the Scripture must be physically present

FORMULARIES:
* Are a way to learn Spells

• Spells must be learned as separate abilities - ie, no "Use [Formulary]" abilities
• The Formulary need not be present, only the Spell Talisman

GRIMOIRES:
* Contain Spells

• Can be accessed EITHER by "Use [Grimoire]" or the individual spell ability
• Use [Grimoire] requires physical presence of the Grimoire, but the individual spell ability does not

All true?

By the way - I assume the difference between Blessings/Curses and Spells is that the former are only Augments, whereas the latter can be active spells?
