The PDF rules summaries you can get from the glorantha.com site cover those quite nicely.

No, be fair, the main rulebook gives LOTS of examples of how to use the rules in play. Or indeed how not to use the rules in play. And the sample role-playing given is far more generic fantasy universe in feel than it is Gloranthan, it just happens to use the names of Gloranthan gods and cultures from time to time.

A short guide to how to swap to using this very different rule-system, though... you know, I'm not sure I can think of one. I haven't read the Heroes book recently, so I may be missing something in there, but the best explanations I've seen have been on this list.
