In play, following HQ2, I generally ask folks to come up with their character concept as the first part of creating a character. That tends to lead us in the direction of what he would be like, and what runes he would have. Then we look for a god.
I'm sure some folks will say Orlanth is Air, Movement, Mastery so I'll take those three, but I would expect him to play that way. When someone initiates there rune becomes a flaw to act against the expected behavior.
