Assuming Illumination works anything like that now (and I wouldn't want to bet on it), I don't think it would help with time constraints. Devotion, sincere or not, still takes time. With the new "relationship" model of society, I think it's much harder for "Pokegods, gotta get 'em all"-style Illuminates to waltz onto a Tula, pick up a little CA devotion, switch to Humakt, learn a feat, switch to Issaries, get the secret, and move on. People will talk.
