Yeah, I've found that. Again, it's not organized in a way that makes things easy. I realize that this is endemic to Gloratha, but everything is cross-referenced in such a way that you are always jumping in the middle. So you get the feeling there's a coherent explanation *somewhere*, but you only get to see bits of it.

That's going to depend a bit on the players. I'm trying to mass a group (unfortunately, the core of my main group bailed when someone offered them another DnD game -- new things are hard, you see) and do want their input on what we should run. I'm thinking I probably want something on the outer edge of the Lunar empire, so that the Lunars can be present, even if not the main villains or story point. What edge would depend a bit on where people wanted to be from. (If the characters all want homelands west of the Empire, I'm not going to locate the game on the Eastern edge.)

Then it will depend on what the players are after, something more political, more hack and slash, more "dark forbidden magics", etc.

But to give you an example of how newbie I am, I spent the last day or so hunting down a map I could use. As in a map with the basic countries/regions laid out in a way I could read. Because I couldn't even figure out where everything was in relation to each other. :)
