Ha ha, I may have even written that long ago, but I'm with Peter here. I don't care how it is made: a dead thing that is moving around under its own power is undead.

The Kralori have a different attitude towards them. They see them on the closer side of the line which marks "that which is unacceptable" than most societies. Or perhaps it is just the fleet admirals with such an attitude. It's a hard line of "acceptability."

Almost correct. Humakt is the Death, and the Undead rob him of his rightful due, they pervert the power of Death.
