Kyger Litor is the Mother, to uz.
She is the Devourer to just about everyone, inlcuding the Orlanthi, etc.

There are no wives among uz, just husbands. (joke).
I see the Eater as sweeping across boundaries, like darkness does at

Tha's Kyger Litor

Belly of Darkness that consumes all, and also the Mother from which all
things come, and return.
Round up some stories where he's a boundary crosser and I'll make

another joke.

that is a pretty cool idea, and I'm not going to say how he makes zombies.

that is right, neither does Kyger Litor. Now, regretably, my books have been packed since my son and gandson just moved in so I can't cite the source or point out the hints, but I recall that they were summonning the Eater, and the Grazers performed a spectacular sacrifice to escape.
They were summoning the Black Eater on Gbjai when he wounded Kyger

Because, the Black Eater = Kyger Litor.

The description of the Battle of Night and Day makes it clear that it was Gbaji that burned/devoured his way out of her innards. "Nysalor ripped the innards of Kyger Litor from her soul and ever since then the entire troll race has been cursed." (http://www.glorantha.com/new/battle_nightday.html) The Illuninated Mystic alone is capable of coming back from the depths of the Underworld, and his self-resurrection damaged her permanently.
