Yep. Keep in mind there is a world of difference between a Great God
like Orlanth who is in contact with the Infinite by virtue of being
one of the Great Powers of Glorantha, and some mortal who tries to
contact the Infinite on his own. A Greater God is by definition in
contact with Infinite. A mortal who tries usually ends up babbling
nonsense and should be killed before he or she becomes a danger to
their kin!*

- Exceptions exist of course. We aren't talking about the sacred
Stormwalkers of Old Wind who spend their lives meditating on their
breath or the holy priests of Viskuvanth who seek the Ultimate by
elevating themselves above Top of the World. Those folk have a place
in the world. They are strange, but revered strange folk. Rather, we
are talking weirdos who say that they have figured out how to contact
the Ultimate through riddles or other cheap parlor tricks. They are
dangerous as best, evil harbringers of Predark at worst. Worst of all
are those weird "Seventher" moonie folk who have been duped by their
mad Red Goddess!
