Peter:
Well Humakt being worshipped by Humans and Zorak Zoran by Trolls keeps the two sides pretty far apart.

Pardon my delay in writing. I'd like to get a cigar as necromancer of dead threads :-)
As far as I get, players always mused to mix up these three religions in their search for the ultimate warrior. Sazdorf Trolls sport human Zorak Zorani and Humakti uz, IIRC. More recently we learned that Trolls have other warrior cults apart from ZZ and other antichaos cults apart from ditto ZZ. But the fascination of players for those original three 'badass' heroes survives to these days. In my campaign, players equally despise Storm Bullies and Zorak Zorani, even if they just fought the latter (MOB's memorable Hut of Darkness scenario anyone?). Humakti are honored but not first choice as allies or player heroes (too narrow minded). Now in my campaign Than Ulbar has been conquered and Xsa Glut slain. Who of these three gods or cults or herobands in Prax and the Wastes would benefit the most from the destruction of Than Ulbar, in your esteemed opinion? Humakt, because Than is the god of treason, undeath and falsity? Storm Bull for obvious reasons?
Zorak Zoran because of the disappearance of a noted head hunter competitor in genertela (tongue in cheek, here?) OR, more probably and logically, Lhankor Mhys, the Sartarites of the River of Cradles and the Rebellion as a whole? Kralorela, for strategic reasons? We are still in late 1620, mind you.

Ciao,
