Wise move. This has never been stated in print by me. Congratulations!! :)
> How long (in weeks) is standard human gestation.
One year.
> Does this vary between cultures.
No, not significantly.
> I'm guessing almost one full Gloranthan year give or take a couple weeks

Bingo!!
> I need to know for certain! lol
Now you know.
OK: a couple of other things:
Short gestation: Great spiritual energy shortens gestation.
If a child of Ernalda and Orlanth could be conceived and born today, it
would grow to full maturity in a day and a night.
Individuals who are mighty with power engender children who mature more
quickly, both in womb and out.
Children born shortly before a fertility festival where intercourse is usual
are considered to be especially blessed, it being assumed that they were
conceived on the deity's day when mother and father were flowing with
magical juices.
Children born shortly before a festival that requires chaste behavior are
considered to have difficulty with the source of that violated energy.
Longer gestation:
The mother or child or both are in the grips of some foreign power that is
delaying nature.
Children born of very extended pregnancies tend to have significant powers
of darkness or water.
One exception is know: that of the 100 year pregnancy, the child of which was born a wise old man who lived forever afterward. The GL attempted to reproduce this act, but every child born of the experiments was a monster in for or soul.
