According to the Tentacles version of Sartar:Kingdom of Heroes your clan members frequently have blonde hair if they were joined by a remnant of a people called the Eryain Ins in the Vingkot Age (this is part of the clan generation procedure). Such a clan also gets three checks in it's Fire Rune, so apparantly you are officially right.
