Malkion - Brithini Talar?

Hang on. Malkion was a prophet, killed by the Brithini. He was a mortal.

He was the prophet of the Invisible God. BoS would seem to intimate that Grandfather Mortal (Slain by Humakt's "Death" during god time by Orlanth) is now the IG - which may explain why he is 'invisible' and never seemed to do much (cf RQ2/3 Magic).

>From the Glorantha Prosopaedia (

http://www.glorantha.com/library/prosopaedia/g.html#grandfather-mortal ) seems to indicate that he was the first Homo Sapien, Troll, Dwarf, Elf . . . So all other cultures forgot about their progenitor. Whereas a weird little human(/Brithini?) cultural offshoot seems to have run with him and made him their god. The persecuting Brithini must have realised that these poor wretched monkeys had taken up the worship of a dead god - so they 'let' them go thinking they could be 'ignored' and they bred like crazy (from a Brithini perspective) and the rest is the history of the West*. All of this happening just before time started - if that statement can be seen to make sense.

More Questions:

  1. Were Brithini immortal before Time? Wasn't everybody 'immortal'.
  2. <Google'ing - Brithini > surely Nick Brook knew Malkion was a Prophet. But in http://www.etyries.com/malkioni/westrace.htm he states Brithini were followers of Malkion (the God?) Was Malkion a Brithini Talar? Has there been some evolution since.
  3. It was my understanding Arolanit was a Colony generated (bred) to deal with the 1st Age Gbaji issue - Arolanit never existed before time. Is this wrong? Just Facts not cultural interpretations J.
  4. * How the West was One - the West was created by one. The Brithini Talar Malkion.

> Zzabur is an Eransachula, one of the original "runic" emanations, the
equivalent of Orlanth and company, except that the latter have polluted themselves and fallen.

Fascinating... 'Polluted?' by what? 'Fallen' to where?

Also, was/is Malkion an Eransachula (or even more Primal)? Likewise Zzabur's "brothers"; Vadel, Dronar, Holar and Talar? (leaving out, of course, the wretched Waertag!)
