Alas, the fact that the exchange rate makes purchasing things priced in Euros prohibitively expensive is not altered by the fact that other things are prohibitively expensive.

This is not intended as a personal criticism. If anyone reading this list is capable of altering the exchange rates then I hope they'll see their way to returning the pound to about E1.4 before my next holiday, but I strongly suspect that this is not the case.
