On a more advanced level, I also believe that mechanisms similar to the Antikythera mechanism, certainly exist among the dwarves, some western wizards, and are inspirational for the Lhankor Mhy Alien Combination machine. (Although dated around 100BC, well into the Iron age it gives us a glimpse of mad magical maths devices for Glorantha).
