Devices like the Antikythera mechanism definitely were known to the God Learners and the Kralorelans have successful built a variant of Su Song's astronomical clock tower.
FWIW, the Alien Combination machine is a "machine" like the the Lullian circles, which break down the alien logic of the Westerners into the universal characters of Lhankor Mhy, and purify them of falsehood. And yes, that means that the LM temple sages are capable of pretty advanced mathematical concepts as well.
