The trouble with the HQ2 animism rules is that they lack any guidance as to what an Hsunchen cult can do. There's only Kolat and his worshippers aren't shapeshifters.

Taking David's suggestion, the way to handle the Hsunchen transformation would be to use the Telmori (or Basmoli or Pralori) tradition ability and use that as a basis for fighting/acting as a wolf, lion or deer.
