I have quite a bit of non-canonical info on Balazar on my website at: http://webspace.webring.com/people/lo/oliverb/regions/balazar/list.html

I also have a scenario where the PCs have the opportunity to oppose a Lunar attempt to introduce agriculture to the region if you're interested. Unfortunately it only exists in RQ3 and HW format but it may not take much effort to convert. If you're at all interested let me know and I can e-mail you the files.
