Native families are most likely Aeolians, yes.
However, there are lots of enclaves housing other Malkioni (and related) philosophies - Ingareens from God Forgot, Rokari from Nolos and Pasos, Trader Princes, Arkati, Vadeli. You'll probably even be able to find a Fonritian sorcerer or two if you know where and what to look for, if not resident, then a temporary guest on a slaver ship.
