Baroshi = Demigod range of power to me. Not much in the way of other references to that level of power in the RQ I know. Use his stats, use the full moon corps description. Their weapons do the same damage as baroshi's thunderstone, voila. Can't really see what more is needed since they only have one magic trick - reflection.

Not really, I play HeroQuest and never have to worry about the stats anymore. I've run enough epic RQ campaigns to get a good feel for winging it though.

I once ran Snake Pipe Hollow with the players playing rune-level trolls. I wanted to see what powerful trolls under rq3 looked like. We had an arkati sorcerer troll shaman, Zorak Zoran rune lord, Kyger Litor shaman priestess and an aranea priestess. Baroshi was dead hard. The party retreated.

18 months ago, I played in a RQ2 Pavis campaign. It was great fun until we got to combat. Made me realise that I love narrative games and RQ for me is too crunchy. I can't ignore my 20 odd years of running RQ games (1979-1999), they were great experiences, but I do wish HeroQuest had been around then. My games would have been really epic then.
