I've always ruled that if you share a Rune with a being you can do full strength
Healing on them. And Ducks have both the Bird and Man Runes and Elves have both
the Plant and Man Runes and Centaurs have both the Man and Beast Runes. They act
as bridges between the species. This is a Glorantha specific rule and not a
multi-versal RuneQuest rule.
Now, this doesn't seem to have gained much favour with the list. I've even been
told that it's a 'God-Learner construct'. To which I would reply that even if
this isn't an original part of the structure of Glorantha it is now!
