I believe that trolls dislike gold to a minor degree for the only
reason they dislike anything -- it hurts them. Gold tastes nasty and
hot. Of course, in small quantities sprinkled on food, maybe it's
an acquired taste -- a seasoning. And I bet Zorak Zoran trolls have
to eat a wheel or two during tests as a demonstration of toughness.
But most troll gold is taken to the Castle of Lead, where
it is stored in the Chamber of Glistening Light, with other evil
treasures, to be used at a certain time to be shown hereafter.
