ever put together a Gloranthan Diplomacy? I know it might not appeal to the purists because of the lack of interaction, but I'd still like to play diplomacy over a DP game board.

Some months ago, I toyed with the somewhat heretical and extremely silly idea of a Gloranthan version of Iron Dragon, which would presumably be called Bronze Dragon. Iron Dragon is a crayon rail game, where the players build and operate railways across a fantasy continent. Consider the possibilities:

shipping slaves from Prax to the Lunar Empire, in return for finish goods.
the rail bridges across the Zola Fel being destroyed by the Giant Cradle
delays in constructing track through Dorastor (because of untimely deaths amongst the construction crews)

The difficulty was that a couldn't think up a plausible explanation for the sudden jump in technology. Presumably it would have to be set well after 1620 or so.
