So you say Naimless's use of the fire elemental at Tourney Altar (from Biturian Varosh's Travels) is bollocks?

How can you cross the 200 miles between Cliffhome and Stormwalk Mountain in less than a couple of miles?

Part of the trick seems to be to bag off part of the spirit realm in the enchantment (or spirit trap?), and stow the spirit along with all of its substance there. Seems similar to the Short Roads principle.

Even if he is illuminated, the revised rules on illumination (in Lords of Terror? :-) don't automatically grant immunity to all illuminates any more.
