'In winter, squaw get bun-in-oven. In summer, squaw no get bun-in-oven. In rains, squaw have to pee a lot."
Running Gag, Praxian brave, explaining the Facts of Life to his sons.

They still walk the same way that humans do, only stiffer. If you want to have a useful water zombie, use a big croc or gigantic catfish (which Delecti or one of his adherents probably have already).

Untiringly, the zombie beavers gnaw on the walls of the hillfort... 'Night of the living dead chipmunks' was the title of a Larson cartoon, once.

Agreed. But Humakt worship carries less of a stigma among Ducks and Lismelder tribesmen than among other Orlanthi.

Agreed again. Its rather like this: The vampires carefully instruct their zombies each dawn what they will do if intruders (Duck Humakti) appear, and worry about their Protective Circles being broken while they lie waiting for what vampires do instead of sleeping. The ducks carefully checks their wards, let out the dogs, and hope the little iron death runes hanging on the door won't fall downn during the night.

Agreed again. The special duck cults are not that different from the tribe-specific cults of any Sartarite Orlanthi tribe.

Barntar the Paddydigger instead of Barntar the Ploughman? Barney aint crop specific.

Or the duckish Odayla teach Command Insect spells, and special bughunting tactics, and have some insect spirits/gods as allied cults.

IMC ducks hate raptors and sling at'em at the first opportunity. Perhaps the small, heretical sect could be up to stuff like sacrifice precious ducklings to big hungry raptors, or something like that.

Damn it, not much dissent above :-)

Cheech and Chong in Glorantha?
