Associate cults

    Right. But remember that just because a cult is associated it doesn't necesserily grant any spells. The associate cults of the Red Goddess (Etyries, Seven Mothers, etc.) don't gain any magic from their association, for instance. Followers of Moonson won't have access to all the spells of every legion cults in the Empire IMO. Especially since most of them aren't any use if you're not part of a well-orchestrated army. What use is Shield Wall to anybody who isn't a hoplite (let alone a soldier)?

     Perhaps Excoriation is another name for Pain Blow (Lords of Terror p 84)?
