        Nick gives us a (seemingly) Carmanian tale that would be equally at home in Tanisor. That is the kind of thing we need for the West.

        BTW I think it was Jean Durupt who talked about solutions for the rokari caste problem. My piece on the matter went out last March!

        I play the West much more mundane that the myth-steeped Sartar or Lunar Empire. Here spirits are less widespread, and their power can be challenged without much trouble. Wonders still remain, but they are more human-centered and human-origined. It may have something to do with sorcery warping the magical landscape, or the supression field generated by IG Temples.

        I am too rational and less evocative than other listmembers. That's why I like the West to be at the same time more and less like the RW. And why I play there.
