Hi all

+phases of the moon

I think that the dividing line between the dark side of the moon and her bright side should be an horizontal line instead of a vertical line as in the RW. The red side is always under the dark side of the moon. Outside the Silver Shadow Sultanate, the line cimbs up from a dark moon to the full moon, and climbs down from the full moon to the dying moon (when a faint red line is still visible). In the Silver Shadow Sultanate, the moon has been full since Rufelza apotheozised.
The temples to the reaching moon allow the moon to be always full inside the glowline thanks to a red corona around the red moon, they expand the boundaries of the silver shadow sultanate so to speak. Everywhere outside the Silver Shadow Sultanate, the red moon has the same phase on a given day.

+Telmori

I think that Talor cursed Telmor, which means that no Telmori escaped his curse wether they accepted Nyssalor's gift or not. I think that each time the blue moon is full all the Telmori have to transform into wolves. It was done so that they could never know when the transformation would happen.
Rufelza has brought back some of the magics from Nysalor. The telmori tribes who accepted the gift are still heavily cursed, but they know that each wildday they will transform into wolves. Those who did not accept the gift, are still cursed, but they don't have to become wolves when the red moon is full (unless it is the day when the blue moon is full too). Both kinds of tribes are cursed, but one has an advantage on the other. You can have Pure Telmori who usually don't become werewolves on wilddays, and Cursed ones who always do.

+Praxian pikes

The simplest solution is that Arinsor Clearmind, the first count had trees planted near the Sun Dome temple, so that the next generations would be able to make poles for their pikes, and axles for their chariots.
Anyway, the Zola Fel valley is full of trees. IMO it is where the nomads get the wood they need too. And it makes it a strategic target during the wars between nomad nations.

+Sun Dome tactics

When defending the Sun county, the Yelmalion rely on a network of fortified villages and watchtowers. The goal is to spot the nomads raids and for everyone to run behind the walls. The raiders have a choice between leaving empty handed or to besiege the village, knowing that at most 2 days later a relief army will come to the village's rescue. The nomads are usually unable to storm the fortifications in 2 days, and they don't want to be caught between a phalanx and the village walls, so they usually raid easier targets.

When the Sun Dome templars fight, they use some of the militia peltasts to guard the right side of the phalanx and their missile troops to channel their ennemies toward the front of the phalanx. The missile troops are supported by the others peltasts. The phalanx is their shock troop and is used to break the ennemy line (and make them rout). That's why the militia is trained both to fire missiles and to form ranks.

Swiss squares may be used by the frontier barons who rely on their cavalry as their shock troop.

Peace
