K. Paul McDonald misses the point
>Nooo!! ;) What does it take to kill that guy? I thought it was a good
death. He kept coming back until Oddi used the wyrd

  1. In Paulis' story, Oddi does not either use the sword's wyrd to kill the broo king -- Oddi is quite alive and well at the end of the tale. He just kills the broo king who does somehow come back to life once.
  2. The bad guy in the Paulis story _is_not_Ralzakark_. Ralzakark was not behind the plot! Ralzakark had nothing to do with it. There is no evidence that Ralzakark would even be as dangerous or as powerful as the monster broo king that Oddi killed. It's inappropriate to moan and groan about how hard Ralzakark is to kill, because we gain no actual knowledge of the big R. from this tale at all. Ralzakark is blamed for everything in Dorastor. This is not the same as him being _responsible_ for everything. Think of all the many weird chaos manifestations in Dorastor that are blamed on Ralzakark -- his supposed children, alter egos, etc., Do most of these things have anything to do with him? What if Ralzakark, instead of being some colossal semi-mythic manifestation, is just a strong and smart broo? And something _else_ is going on? There are a number of chaos monsters in Dorastor that are more powerful and dangerous than Ralzakark, though only a few that rule well-organized societies.
