Transhumance; Tradetalk; tree line

I believe the relevant line in Haunted Ruins is: "[The Aranwyth] are semi-nomadic, dependent on sheep and horses." This sounds like transhumance to me. The Forloss Hills are mentioned as being Aranwyth pastures.

Your idea of Tradetalk being used as a creole was probably true during the Second Age, but I don't think this has survived. I also doubt it was called Jrusteli -- I believe it was created, almost certainly with some magical component.

As a reasonable guess, I'd say hexes on the boardgame map that have mountains probably have some peaks above the tree line.
