Stirrups in glorantha

The earliest known date is Kastok's campaigns in the sixth century. It was probably introduced from the west. I don't think westerners knew of the stirrup before the Dawn as the Talars (who ride horses) and the Horals (who fight) are distinct castes thus implying that they had no mounted soldiers until after Hrestol brought about the concept of Knights being the epitome of all castes.
